The 4th Annual 1x1 Art Gala will once again feature artwork by an eclectic mix of area individuals including graphic designers, artists, marketing folk and students. All pieces will be held for silent auction with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the AAF-District 8 Education Foundation. Guests will also vote on their favorite pieces in a number of categories.
A Creativity Expo? You don't necessarily have to call yourself an artist to participate. If you can take something as boring as a 1' x 1' piece of particle board and make it into something cool - you're qualified. The goal is to be as creative as possible and come up with a great work of art of something no one's ever seen before.
All pieces will be held for silent auction with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the District 8 Education Foundation. This year, aside from pieces being auctioned off, attendees will vote for their favorite pieces in a number of categories. The creators of the winning pieces will receive awards as well as one Best of Show winner taking home the coveted ODDY trophy.
