WHAT’S THE 1x1?
The 6th Annual 1x1 Art Gala will feature work by an eclectic mix of area individuals including artists, graphic designers, crafty folk and students. All artwork is done using materials from the official 1’x1’ materials "kit" and artists are free to do with it what they please. The only rule is they have to use the materials provided. What is created from there is all up to the artist’s imagination — and it is usually pretty amazing!
THE CATCH!?
This year, things got a little shake up. Artists still got a plank of wood, like in years past, but in their 1x1 "kit", they were given some other goodies to re-purpose into their creation.

THE CAUSE
All pieces will be held for silent auction with proceeds from the event going to
SCSU & SCTCC National Student Advertising Competition teams.
Attendees will also vote on their favorite pieces in a number of
categories and exciting door prizes will be awarded throughout
the night.
THE TUNES & THE GRUB
Paul “Stretch Rocker” Diethelm will be performing
and there will be delicious food from Pacific Wok.
Come out and enjoy a night of creativity!

Your completed piece is due no later than November 28th and must be turned in with an official turn-in sheet which can be downloaded HERE.
Your pieces can be dropped off at any of the following locations:
