Nearly three years into the bleakest economic period in recent history and amid catastrophic change in the media industry at large, Google is still recording large profits. How? Why? The world's most powerful media company is in the middle of a long battle to own your mind, in ways you probably don't even notice. Josh gives a detailed analysis of Google's wide-ranging future plans and how the expansion of its ever-extending tentacles into all forms of communication can both work for and against your company.
Josh is the President & CEO of StraightForward Media, A pay-per-click advertising agency that creates and manages Google and Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns for clients worldwide as well as a Speaker/Trainer/Consultant at StraightForward Interactive. He is also the Owner of Mama's Fallen Angels LLC, the world's largest and fastest-growing network of 80's hard rock and heavy metal fans. It's not his career -- it's a side project/labor of love.
He is an expert in pay-per-click advertising (PPC advertising), including Google Adwords, Search Alliance (Yahoo! and MSN) and Facebook. He’s created campaigns for more than 500 companies in the U.S., Europe and South America over the last 10 years. Many of those are small and medium-sized businesses, as well as companies such as Wal-Mart, Ebay, Kayak.com, GlaxoSmithKline, and University of Phoenix. His agency was featured in "The Ultimate Guide to Facebook Advertising" by Perry Marshall and Thom Meloche, for nabbing some of the cheapest clicks known to man.
Josh speaks on a variety of topics: all things Google-related, online advertising, content publishing and community-building, entrepreneurship, resume-building, scholarship-winning and more. He’s spoken everywhere from Harvard University to Vienna, Austria, to ramshackle rural community centers.
