
Marketing and Promotion in a Not-for-Profit Industry
Today, health care providers face great challenges. They are in the national spotlight through the health care reform debate. John Schnettler, Director of Marketing for CentraCare Health System and St. Cloud Hospital, will give us insight into marketing and promotion in a highly visible, complex, not-for-profit industry.
CentraCare Health System is a collaborative group of Central Minnesota health care professionals providing comprehensive, nationally recognized care. CentraCare includes three hospitals, nine CentraCare Clinic sites and four long-term care facilities. CentraCare Health System employees 6,200 people and serves more than 600,000 people in a 12-county area.
John Schnettler is a native of St. Cloud. He joined St. Cloud Hospital in 1990 and has been Director of Marketing for CentraCare Health System since 1997. He is a graduate of St. John’s University where he received degrees in government and economics. He holds an MBA in marketing management from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
