AdFed Right Brain Golf Classic Rules

Statement: The RBGC usually has a shotgun start. But not this time. What's that mean?
Meaning: Your group will be assigned a tee time sometime at or after 12:30. You should plan on being at Territory, checked in, loaded into your carts and lined up waiting patiently and quietly at the 1st tee box 10 minutes prior to your assigned time. Don't push this one. You'll slow us all down. Then, as you finish, dinner will be served in the clubhouse along with access to a cash bar.

Statement: The RBGC has a scramble format.
Meaning: Everyone on your team will take a shot. Pick the ball that lands in the best position and everyone take their next shot from that spot. Repeat as necessary. Simple, right? (One catch: Your team must use a tee shot from each member of the team at least three times. So you can’t just rely on your one ringer to do all your driving.)

Statement: All balls must be completely holed.
Meaning: No gimmies.

Statement: Golfers will tee off from the appropriate tee position.
Meaning: When you get to the tee box for your hole, there will be four sets of markers. For our purposes, stay away from the black. If you feel the need to hit from the blue, it probably means you’re compensating for something. The white works just fine for most beginning and average-skilled men. The red is perfectly acceptable for women. (Don’t think of it as sexist or condescending. Just step up there and hit it.)

Statement: Upon completion of your round, turn your team’s scorecard in to Greg Skoog.
Meaning: Yes, we are keeping score. Not a big deal. We just are.

Statement: Have fun!
Meaning: The beer cart will be out on the course. (Visit it responsibly!)
