2016 American Advertising Awards of Central Minnesota

Welcome to ADDY Season, an annual competition and celebration for marketers, advertisers, creatives, media specialists, producers, strategists, and students across Central Minnesota. For those new to the term “ADDY” or the American Advertising Awards competition, please visit here to get up-to-speed. If this isn’t your first rodeo, read on.

This year, AAFCM and its generous sponsors, invite you to experience the Regency Creative Club, or the R.C.C. for short. The R.C.C. is an exclusive club for those who have reached advertising’s elite status. It’s a place where glitzy and gawdy effortlessly collide, good creative is adored, and what you wear is much more important that how you act.

To be an R.C.C. member, one must apply. Applications, in the form of competition entries, must be filled out, submitted, with dues paid by the 22nd of January. You’ll hear back in early February whether or not your application was accepted.

If you’re accepted, you mustn’t miss the Annual Gala to retrieve your award, referred to in the Club as an ADDY. Remember: R.C.C. memberships are limited, so if your application is declined, you’re still invited to the Gala to mix and mingle.

So start polishing your leather, get your Sunday Best dry cleaned, and don’t forget the bling because this year’s American Advertising Awards show will be a display of exaggerated affluence. Embrace it. And we’ll see you at the Club.
