The Unifying Voice for Advertising in Central Minnesota
We are more than just a club; we host and share events to entertain, educate, and unite our creative selves across our region. We learn how to leverage our talents, foster our curiosity, and explore our potential together. As a proud member of the American Advertising Federation (AAF), AAFCM carries its mission of acting as the unifying voice across Central Minnesota. Our club is part of 40,000 professionals across the U.S. and works tirelessly to celebrate the creative impact and the ever-evolving practice of marketing, advertising, design, and communication.
Members benefit from participation; AAFCM offers a variety of ways for members to engage in events and volunteer efforts alike. Your precious time can be rewarded by collaborating on the board and/or special committees specific to our club’s mission and initiatives. Committees include: membership, marketing, programming, education, American Advertising Awards, conferences, and public service.
Unique to our ad club, students are encouraged to attend events and allowed to participate in our annual awards event.
AAFCM is in the eighth district of the American Advertising Federation. The AAF is dedicated to serving members by protecting and advancing the interests of the ad industry. AAF fulfills this mission through effective government relations, professional development, public education, advertising education, advertising standards, public service, and recognition of excellence.
Our efforts are focused across a few core initiatives as put in place by AAF. These include advancing the narrative of advertising’s relevance and power in government, education, public affairs, diversity, equity and inclusion, and professional development. Our efforts wouldn’t have the reach they do without the tireless support and advocacy of our ad community and club members like you.
