Married with Business: An All Couples Panel Event

Take a moment and think about your significant other. Even though you love ‘em, you probably enjoy a little break from them every once in a while. Maybe even more than once in a while. Now, take a moment and ponder this: What would it be like to not only eat, sleep, and live with your partner, but also run a business together? Come find out from people that do at our Married with Business All Couples Panel Event!

We’ve invited a panel of married business owners to share the ins and outs of doing life AND business with the person they love. Our three power couples will chat about what it’s like to work with their spouse, how they got started, and how they maintain a work/life balance to successfully build their brands and keep both their business and marriage thriving.

Join us for a LOVE-ly (see what we did there?) evening on Thursday, March 31, at Cooper Collective in St. Cloud. The fun takes place with Happy Hour and Networking starting at 5:30 PM and panelists taking center-stage from 6 PM to 7 PM.

P.S. In case you didn’t catch it, the event name “Married with Business” is a play on the popular 80s/90s sitcom (a comedy goldmine, if you ask us), “Married…with Children.” Now that the theme song is officially stuck in your head (you’re welcome), purchase your tickets, mark your calendar, and get ready for an evening of love and business!

Ashley Green Gomez and Adam Gomez
Owners of Green Thumb Etc.

Green Thumb Etc., located in St. Cloud, is the world’s only flower shop, home decor store, custom furniture showroom, and giftware boutique. Ashley and Adam started this shop to have a place for people of all kinds to come and find something that speaks to their souls. It is an evolving process, adapting to the needs of the community. Currently, you can find plants, fresh flowers, custom upholstered furniture, gifts, men’s and women’s items, and home decor.

Ryan and Sharon Voeller
Owners of Adventure Coffee

Ryan, a St. Cloud-native, is a two-time combat-wounded veteran who loves coffee and adventures. Ryan lives for outdoor adventures and sharing coffee with friends. He believes fresh air and a quality cup of coffee are necessary for everyone. That is why he founded Adventure Coffee MN. Ryan believes a healthy outdoor caffeinated escape is the healthiest prescription you could ever get from the doc! Come say hi and chat travels with him, he may even invite you to an outdoor expedition with coffee!

Sharon hails us from Sauk Rapids. She is the ultimate coffee snob but you’d never know it since she’s so sweet. She is passionate about the Central Minnesota community and has big plans to make it better with her big heart! She also works as a registered nurse and practitioner with Uncoiled QNRT. When she’s not helping make you smile in the truck, she’s helping others heal.

Spencer and Lori Knisely
Owners of Textile Creative Studios

Spencer’s professional competencies include digital transformation, CRM, content creative and delivery, retail experience technology, UI/UX, and digital marketing. His background is in the activation of digital technology and experience in the retail channel. Developing and adapting marketing communication strategies and content for store environment programs, from graphics to content to interactives. An advocate for disruptive technology, Spencer drove NATAS Emmy committee consideration of pioneering retail HDTV distribution technology, later serving on that body as a voting member.

Lori is Textile’s chief creative, with professional competencies in brand design, digital UI, environmental design and graphics, print and collateral, and product and lifestyle photography. Her professional design experience covers the spectrum of communications and brand design. Deliverables from complete visual identity systems, through hierarchical graphics programs for commercial spaces, to online digital marketing and web design, Lori is comfortable translating marketing and creative objectives across omnichannel mediums.
