Calling all Artists, Crafty Folks and those looking to GET CREATIVE.
It’s 1×1 Art Gala season again and it’s time to put that creativity back on display. You don’t necessarily have to call yourself an artist to participate. If you can take something as boring as a 1′ x 1′ piece of particle board and make it into something cool – you’re qualified. The goal is to be as creative as possible and come up with a great work of art, craft, or something no one’s ever seen before.
If you want to participate, it’s time to get your official board. Boards are $5 for AAFCM members and $10 for non-members. If you return your board by the due date, you receive free entry to the event.To get your official 1×1 board:

About the 1×1 Art Gala: A Creativity Expo
The 5th Annual 1×1 Art Gala will once again feature pieces by an eclectic mix of area individuals including graphic designers, artists, marketing folk and students. All pieces will be held for silent auction with proceeds going to support AAFCM’s two student NSAC teams – SCSU & SCTCC…it is a GREAT cause. Guests will also vote on their favorite pieces in a number of categories and prizes will be awarded throughout the night.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS
The event will be held on the night of November the 19th at the Red Carpet Events Center. There will once again be live musical entertainment and delicious refreshments. More event information to come. Keep an eye on adfedcentral.com.
